Due Wednesday: What is Beauty? Presentations + debate
Debate: Who has a better appreciation of beauty, the artist or the scientist? Why?
* Find an object that exemplifies beauty and bring it in to present to all of us.
You will develop an intellectually and creatively engaging response that includes:
Develop a criteria-based definition of beauty.
Choose response (see 4 options below):
Your creative response must be a full page – typed double-spaced)
Options:
1. write a letter of devotion to your object
2. write a short story that features your object as a character
3. write a response from the point of view of your object
4. write an ode (poem): must be at least 24-30 lines.
