1. Peer grading: vocabulary quiz "The Sundays of Satin-Legs Smith"
Go to vocabulary.com, search for the list I created for this poem, and assess the accuracy of your peer's definitions and use of the words in sentences
2. Type one of your poems
You will exchange poems with a peer, and your peer will complete a SPOTTS/TPCASTT analysis of your poem
3. Complete & type S.W.O.Q. + 2 Reflection & upload to Turnitin
How effective is your thesis?
Does your essay build a sound argument with fully developed body paragraphs (i.e. evidence and analysis)?
4. Bring/e-mail second draft of your poetry essay for peer review on Monday
Annotate first draft + revise essay = (Peer review Monday)
Due Friday:
1. Compare/contrast Poetry Essay Final draft due Friday morning 8:00am
2. Read + annotate Hamlet Act I, Act II (in the Bedford -and/or-Folger's Edition)
Answer/annotate guided reading questions (see reading guide)
*You can write/higlight/annotate the Folger's edition and pay for the edition at the end of the year
